So, the other day - my adorable grown up boy in a child's body - comes up to me and says; and I quote:

"hey mom, can you do me a solid and get me a popsicle...thanks chicky! (insert wink, wink)" and runs off to finish his latest mission with all of his Army and Police guys.

A...Solid?? I wasn't sure what this meant at first and therefore I had to ask my 15 year old neice, Tori. For those of you not up to par with the "lingo" this statement translates to "...can you do me a big favor..." When did this statement/question, whatever you want to call it, get changed?? I was NEVER notified so I am pretty sure I am among the un-cool that still say "...do me a big favor..." but I am pretty sure people still know what I mean! Sheesh!! And let's not forget about the "chicky" part! When did I become "c-h-i-c-k-y" funny, I thought I was m-o-m?!? Oh gosh, I am not sure when it happened...but it did...and I am worried for myself!!!

Dominic had his very first, EVER T-Ball practice yesterday. It was THE cutest thing I have seen (since the last cutest thing I saw him do :)). His team is the SF Giants. I find that so ironic considering these are probably the tiniest little boys I have ever seen!!! To cute!! Anyway, here are some pics I took from his practice:

After the players were dismissed, D said "mom, can I go talk to the coach" and I said "sure, what do you need to tell him" and he said "oh, I will tell you in a minute." So he runs down to the field and I look over to see them givin' a high-five to each other (of course I missed that Kodak moment! :() and then he runs back. I said "what did you need to tell him baby" and he says "oh, just...thanks for the game coach!" Is that not the cutest thing you have EVER heard...in your entire long legged life (except for the last cutest thing he said :))?!?!

Great 1st practice, mousch!!! I can't wait for the games to begin! I know you will be the all-star that you are with everything else!!! I love ya like no body's business!!!!!!

Ain't Nothin' Better....

than having your adorable, gorgeous, unbelievably stunning little 5 year old boy look at you while you are adjusting the rear view mirror and say..."mom...you are just beautiful". Now tell me how I can have a bad day after that!?! ...oh that's right...promptly having to drop him off at day care and come to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and...

I cut my hair...OFF...short...bye-bye...gone...I...yeah!

T-Ball...What???

Since when did my teeny-tiny little baby boy get old enough to sign up for T-Ball?!? Um, not sure when that happened...but it did...and we are...and I am having a small panic attack!!! Not to worry, I will have a bigger one when he registers for Kindergarten...IN 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAGGHHHHH!!!! This is the ONLY time I will concur with the saying "time flies when you are havin' fun"!! Stay tuned for more Xanax moments!! TTFN

2009 Holidays...fast forward!

Long time no see!!!! I haven't posted anything in such a long time that I thought I better at least post something about the last couple of Holidays of the year. So, without further adue...here is a re-cap...on fast forward!!

My very 1st, awesome-est, most delicious-ist, prize winning, gorgeous, made-from-scratch, start-to-finish...blueberry pie!!! My family gets together the day before T-day for a pie making party. It is much fun and everyone gets involved... well, except for me! You see, in years past I always found it more fun to talk and goof off than make pies...I mean don't you buy those things??? C'mon!?! Well, this year...stand back, it was my year!!! I got into the groove and loved EVERY single minute of it! I am sure if you lick your screen the flavor will jump right out and you will see for yourself what I am talkin' about!!

Our WONDERFUL Hosts! Aunty Theresa and Uncle Gargamel :) hosted Thanksgiving this year and it was a HIT! Thanks for a GREAT, great day! The girls...

Mom and Ricky...who just turned the big 1 - 8!?!?!...um, when did that happen exactly!?! Wow, I am seriously O-L-D!

Cyndi & Ron (gosh, I just LOVE these two!!) The Snowman cake I made for my mom's b-day!! That's correct, made it myself - no cake molds here - just pure talent!! What is Christmas without a Ginger Bread House?!?! This poor house was deemed unsuitable for living oh about...1 minute after it was constructed!! LOL!!! Seriously, we couldn't even breath next to it for fear it was going to fall down!! No "huffin'-and-puffin'" needed for this bad boy; a whisper sent the windows crashin' in like the Wizard of Oz!!!! LOL!! Seriosly good times tryin' to construct this bad boy!!! The empty Santa cookie plate! LOVED every single one of the those delicious cookies! O' Christmas Tree!

Christmas morning 2009 Dominic, in his NEW Christmas Jammies and sleepy eyes, headin' out to see what Santa left for him! Ricky and Tori opening presents. Ricky joined us for both T-day AND Christmas this year - totally AWESOME!! D with his new Army Helicopter! G-ma with her shiney red nose and Christmas Doll!!! LOL!! When mom cries, she looks like Rudolph - it's awesome!! Hee Hee - love ya mom!! Ricky with his iTunes card and...Tori...making a face that I'm not sure is about??? I guess that gift wasn't a big hit!

Mario with his Yankees quilt - that I personally made for him!!! I LOVE, love, LOVE this pic...oh and this kid!!!! He just opened the race track his G-ma gave him and he was so beyond excited. The look on his face was/is priceless! I love it!!!!! I just had to throw this one in cuz' I came across it.

My handsome, GORGEOUS, beautiful, A-dorable, unbelievably...stinkin' rotten amazingly A-freakin'-dorable little boy...D!!! Can you stand it??? Oooooohhhhh, I just want to squeeze the crap out of him!!!!

Oh and another I couldn't pass up! Ooooohhhhh, I just LOVE, love, LOVE these two boys - the english language does not have adequate words to describe the love I have for these gorgeous, wonderful, amazing blessings in my life!!!! I love ya like nobody's business to infinity and beyond and around the world and back again!!
